The Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship, established by the Hungarian government, aims to foster international collaboration in higher education by attracting top students from around the globe. This program elevates Hungary’s academic landscape and strengthens ties between Hungary and the home countries of participating students through shared knowledge and experiences.

The scholarship offers an impressive array of benefits, including free tuition fees, a monthly stipend, accommodation assistance, and health insurance. In addition, the growing Filipino student community in Hungary, united under AFSHu, is ready to welcome and support newcomers, ensuring a smooth transition to life in a new country.

Filipinos have pursued various courses under the scholarship, including Agriculture and Sustainable Development, Medicine, Water Management Engineering and Hydrology, Architecture and Protection of Cultural Heritage, Natural Sciences, and Environmental Studies.
