Catbalogan City – Through the Office of International Affairs (OIAs), Samar State University (SSU) is now a proud member of the Global School Alliance (GSA), a global network with over 5,000 schools across 127 countries. GSA is dedicated to improving education worldwide and connecting educators to share best practices and resources.
GSA is an international organization based on Liverpool, England that focuses on three core tenets: School Improvement, Teacher Development, and Student Transformation. SSU and other member schools will benefit from initiatives such as promoting an international dimension in education, personal and professional development for teachers, and empowering students to become global citizens.
SSU’s partnership with GSA aligns with its mission to enhance education on a global scale. This collaboration will provide SSU with opportunities for growth and innovation in education, benefiting both the university and its students.
In addition to this partnership, GSA invites institutions and educators worldwide to join its ‘Learning Unleashed’ platform, promoting the World Economic Forum’s Education 4.0 strategy and UNESCO’s Sustainable Development Goals to prepare students for lifelong learning in the 21st century.
