CATBALOGAN CITY – Samar State University (SSU) Director for International Affairs Dr. Elmer A. Irene announced on November 24 (22) that SSU has been granted membership in the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) joining 1400 member institutions in more than 147 countries.
UNAI is an initiative that aligns institutions of higher education with the United Nations in supporting and contributing to the realization of United Nations goals and mandates, including the promotion and protection of human rights, access to education, sustainability and conflict resolution.
SSU’s membership will open opportunities of global dialogue to support common principles and purposes of the United Nations.
