SEAMEO Virtual Student Exchange 2022 hosted by the University of Brawijaya.

Samar State University (SSU) joins with University of Brawijaya (Indonesia), Politeknik Malaysia, and Capiz State University (Philippines) during the virtual Opening Program today which is hosted by the University of Brawijaya. Vice-President for Student Affairs Engr. Ma. Lourdes Amante delivers the welcome message on behalf of President Marilyn Cardoso. Thereafter, nine students from SSU-Computer Engineering Department participate in a two-week long lecture on “Internet of Things”, a free online course which is joined in by 85 IT students from the four higher education institutions. SSU takes part in the ASEAN-wide academic collaboration organized by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) in its program on Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) which is joined in by some 75 educational institutions across the ASEAN Region.
