Samar State University (SSU) has long been committed to promoting internationalization, fostering global collaborations, and recognizing the outstanding efforts of individuals who have made significant contributions to international initiatives. In a celebration of academic excellence and global engagement, Samar State University office of International affairs recognized the efforts and contributions of students who participated in its Students Exchange and International Mobility program with its various international partners.
The SSU Internationalization (IZN) Awards are bestowed upon individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and leadership in advancing internationalization efforts within the university. These awardees embody the spirit of global engagement and have significantly contributed to promoting intercultural understanding, fostering international partnerships, and enhancing global opportunities for students and faculty alike.
The selection process involved a thorough evaluation of nominees who had shown exemplary commitment to internationalization such as student exchange programs, and cross-cultural initiatives. The awardees were chosen based on their significant impact on the internationalization goals of Samar State University.

A get-together at OIAs followed after the recognition ceremony where they had the chance to reunite, recall experiences and had fun through a simple but hearty meal. Indeed what a beautiful sight to behold.
